With our backgrounds, expertise and passion, this group identifies and promotes plans of action for the issues we feel are important. CFUW-Muskoka’s efforts translate into effective change at the local, provincial, national, and international level, and most importantly, advocates for women and girls in our local Muskoka community!

  • Meeting: Every 3rd Thursday at 1:30pm

  • Meeting: Last Friday at 10.00am

Each year at our first gathering we discuss the direction we would like to take for the coming year. Over the years we have covered ancient art and worked our way up through the Western tradition. Recently we concentrated on Canadian art, so who knows where we will go next? We also like to visit art galleries, exhibitions and museums and force ourselves to have lunch.

  • Meeting: Every 4th Monday at 10:00am

The most productive way to enact positive change is to bring like-minded people together and have lively brain-storming sessions. Various topics are researched and discussed. This group sometimes works with the Advocacy Group to promote effective change on community, provincial, national, and world issues.
